"We noted the thoughtful detailing of the rugged plywood furniture - dining tables and benches, bunks and their ladders,
and the adequate alternative cooking space on wall-side benches.
The light fittings were beautiful!
We also loved the extensive outdoor covered areas and verandahs at Kia Ora,
so great for winding back with new friends after a long day on the trail and enjoying the views, even on a rainy day.
We could scarcely fault these huts and were grateful to use them".
